(wordcloud of unsolicited feedback on the round-up to nov 2015)
Kimberley to Cape collates a monthly Northern Australian News Round-up to facilitate cross sector information sharing and more informed conversations about the future of the North.
The news clips touch on local to national topics relevant to Kimberley to Cape’s goals including sustainable development, land and water management and conservation, and are arranged under the following categories:
- Pan northern news
- State/territory news
- Weeds, pests & disease
- Biodiversity and protected areas
As the name suggests, they’re a ‘round up’ or summary, rather than hot off the press, and what comes across my desk rather than a systematic collection.
We welcome your relevant contributions, noting our format is a headline and hyperlink, and your feedback!
Feed back so far includes: ‘An impressive collection’ (industry rep), ‘great effort and a valuable contribution’ (community leader), ‘great resource’ (land council rep), ‘fantastic initiative… a great way of highlighting key issues’ (researcher), ‘its great, very easy to read and comprehensive’ (industry rep), ‘another terrific newsletter’ (engo rep), ‘great job’ (gov rep), ‘this is so useful’ (snr academic).
If you would like to subscribe to the News Round-up please email Clare. By subscribing you are participating in the Kimberley to Cape Network – this means that you are willing to engage with others to discuss how to achieve a sustainable and prosperous future for Northern Australia, and that you are generally supportive of Kimberley to Cape’s goals and guiding principles….
